Dinghy with Aquarius

We purchased a hand made fiberglass dinghy along with Aquarius. The dinghy was mostly below water when we first saw it along with the boat back in January of 2002, but I jumped down in her an quickly determined she was still pretty solid. The hull of the dinghy had almost as many oysters and barnacles as Aquarius had. We bailed the little boat out and bought brushes to scrub the slime out of it. We asked the seller if it was included in the purchase when we saw him the next day and gladly agreed, amazed at the care we'd already shown the little dinghy.

That night we had to take her out for a paddle around. Eugene was already asleep, but Mikhail wanted to be captain for the trip, so it was.

We towed our new dinghy over to Isl of Venice along with the boat.

We swapped the dinghy for the Lady Linda in June of 2002, loading the dinghy up on my Dad's trailer at the 17th St boat ramp in Ft Lauderdale before taking it over to his hose for a good bottom scraping. We had a hard time fitting the trailer into the parking arrangements on the Isl of Venice.

We gave the bottom a good scraping at at dad's house, then towed her back to the boatyard when we hauled Aquarius in July of 2002.

We repaired some of the fiberglass, added new cleats and oar locks, and gave her bottom paint and safety yellow above the water line to match Aquarius.
